Kinesense LE is based on five years of advanced video analytics artificial intelligence research and a year field research and development with serving police officers and technical support units.
Traditional video analytics techniques are based on simple motion detection; they detect when groups of pixels change and use size as the key characteristic to distinguish between frames. This primitive approach produces limited and unreliable search results.
Kinesense uses advanced proprietary algorithms to analyze video streams. Kinesense identifies objects based on their unique motion pattern, and can reliably identify humans, vehicles, colour and direction of movement. This significantly reduces false positives, and allows human operators to quickly identify and review relevant scenes.
The result is that investigators can reliably search and review video footage twenty times faster than was previously possible.
Video and CCTV Compatibility
Kinesense LE is capable of copying and analysing video from almost any source including CCTV systems. Kinesense LE is preconfigured to handle most of the common digital video formats, as well as all analogue feeds. Kinesense can intercept video feeds from any 3rd party video player application. Kinesense converts all video into a standard format, using digital signatures on each frame to preserve evidential integrity. Kinesense is constantly expanding its library of codecs, and our support team is ready to assist customers who encounter new or unusual video formats.

Hardware and Software
Kinesense LE is available as licensed software or as an integrated hardware and software solution. The software runs on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. Our hardware solution includes a laptop, rugged flight case, and all of the cables and connectors necessary to retrieve evidence from any analogue or digital CCTV system
Training
Kinesense LE is designed to be a deployed and used quickly. Investigators and support staff who have experience with video retrieval and analysis can be trained an certified on a one-day course. For those who require comprehensive training, Kinesense offer two and three day programs which cover fundamental video concepts as well complete training and certification in the use of Kinesense LE.

Kinesense offer a range of support programs to provide investigators with the technical support they need when they need it. Support is available by phone, email, and thought web resources.
